Shopify quietly powered hundreds of thousands of independent businesses for almost 15 years. In Spring 2019, the brand decided it could no longer exist as a silent solution. Shopify needed to increase awareness and familiarity with both aspiring merchants as well as existing merchants using competitor’s platforms.

Let’s make you a business. was Shopify’s first brand campaign and celebrated independent business owners working to turn their big ideas into a thriving business. The campaign used a mix of traditional and never-been-done before placements that demonstrated Shopify is the difference between simply making something and making it a business.
